3 creative Valentine's Day dates (but where you can still wear your favorite Dunesi dress)

About a week ago listed 6 alternative Valentine’s Day ideas and we found the list such a good one that we decided to put together our own version. So, below are our Top 3 original Dubai Valentine’s Day date ideas, with the main criteria being that you will be able to wear a dress if you want to.

  1. Dinner/sundowners in the desert. Who doesn’t love the sand dunes at sunset? And the desert becomes even more magical after dark when you eat and chat in candlelight. There are many ways to do this but our favorites would be heading to an al fresco rooftop dinner at Bab al Shams ( ) where you can see camels and falcons too if arriving early enough (5 pm). Or book a private picnic or bbq dinner with Arabian Glamping, they will amaze you with their set up and romantic athmostphere ( ) . And you can always also diy, just head to your favorite dune with a blanket, drinks and fairy lights in a bag.

  1. A super romantic way to spend Valentine’s Day in Dubai is to go and see the Dubai Fountain show closer than ever before. The Dubai Fountain Boardwalk is now open and you get to watch the show just 9 meters away from a floating viewing platform. AED 20 per person.

  1. Delicious dinner by the pool. We absolutely love the relatively new beach club and restaurant in One and Only Royal Mirage, Drift. And we heard they are planning a beautiful dinner set up around the pool for one night only on the 14th… As they only opened late last year, your Valentine would never have been there for Valentine’s date before!
