Ciao Milan! - Fashion Week 2018

With all the SS19 Fashion Weeks happening recently, and although we didn't attend any of them (this year), we decided to write about one... and after a long debate at the HQ, Milan was chosen over Paris, New York, London and LA as Italy is the next country to be added to Dunesi's international retailer list (Yay - watch this space!).

The Milan Fashion Week saw the stunning Emily Ratajkowski return to the catwalk after 3 years for Donatella Versace, creating a true Wow! moment. The Versace show also had celebrity models Kendall Jenner and Irina Shayk doing what they do best on the runway.

The big name celebrities spotted at the shows in Milan included Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Nicki Minaj, newly married Chiara Ferragni (aka The Blonde Salad) and Sofia Coppola.

With most of Dubai's fashion scene's who's who in Milan, we followed one of Dunesi's favorite fashionistas Samantha Francis Baker aka Style Is Necessity as she navigated from show to show in one of the fashion world's capital. We loved her reporting from the Alberta Ferretti, Etro and Aigner shows and had some LOLS reading about her taxi experiences around Milan...

Here are a few of stylish Samantha's looks from the trip

Our favourite look from the Milan Fashion Week shows is definitely Moschino's wedding dress worn by Gigi Hadid. The over the top dress was surrounded by "floating" or "flying" butterflies!

The best one of this year's Milan photos however is from earlier in the summer when Sam from StyleIsNecessity was there wearing her Dunesi Sevilla 2-piece:

Slightly boho vacation style perfection!!
