Who is Oksana?

Our new collection is called Oksana x Dunesi so we think we should tell everyone a bit about Oksana...

"I’m a Swedish/Russian model/dancer/mix of everything. I originally started working as a model, then I went on tour with a music group for one year and in between I did some more modeling, designed a line of jeans for a popular Swedish brand, worked on TV... 

After I met my husband Christian who was a professional football player, my work schedule didn’t match well with his so I moved with him around the world but I continued with some modeling/tv show projects on the side. Christian finished his career in Dubai which is why we moved here and we have been calling Dubai home ever since then." 

Dunesi is all about clothes that give you that holiday feeling and making memories in the sunshine... What is your ultimate dream holiday destination? 

"Hawaii! I absolutely loved it... We have been in some of the most beautiful places like Bora Bora and Maldives but nothing can beat my beautiful Hawaii." 

You have travelled and moved around a lot, in how many countries have you lived? 

"Yes, especially for Christian's job we moved many times... so far I have lived in 7 countries." 

How would you describe your style? What is your favourite outfit, one that you feel most yourself in? 
"I love everything that makes me look mysterious. I can change basic clothes to look like they're straight from the catwalk. I love to dress in different styles and play with outfits and be creative. I love to have sexy but classy and elegant outfits, beautiful dresses. I feel most comfortable when I wear something I choose to wear."

We are very excited about the new Oksana x Dunesi collection. What is your favourite piece in it? 
"I love all of them but my 2 favourites are Naomi and Hawaii maxi dresses."

We have really enjoyed working with you on this collection. What else do you like to do for fun? 
"I like spending time with my friends and family, traveling and going to gym." 

The collection is currently available online and SummerSoul boutique in Drift Beach in Dubai. Do you shop online? 
"Not so much but sometimes I order from Zara and Namshi, and from Dunesi of course!"
